*My Thoughts*
I absolutely LOVE Matt Redman. I would have to say that my absolute favorite song by Matt would be "10,000 Reasons". It was my mom's favorite song, and it was the song that we played (on low) the day we took her off of the vent so she could go "home home" (Heaven).

When I received the email to review Matt's newest CD Glory Song, I jumped at the chance! It arrived a few days ago, & I love it so much. I love listening to music while I do housework, or while I'm crocheting.

I think my fav song from this CD would have to be "One day (when we all get to Heaven), I really like how they have taken "When we all get to Heaven" and have given it a makeover. It was one of my favorite hymns as a kid.

Do you like Matt Redman? Would you like a chance to WIN a copy of the CD for FREE? I'm doing a giveaway right here on the blog! Just leave a comment telling me what your favorite Matt Redman song is and you will be entered!

Start Where You Are | Week-at-a-Glance Diary

*Disclaimer*
I received a copy of this book free from bloggingforbooks.org to review. I was not financially compensated in any way. The opinions expressed are my own and are based on my observations while reading this book.

In her journal Start Where You Are, Meera Lee Patel helped readers look inward to discover their dreams and navigate the confusion and chaos of daily life. This planner represents the next step in the process-- a tool both newcomers and Meera's existing audience can use to plot out the practical steps, day-by-day, week-by-week, of accomplishing those dreams. This perpetual week-at-a-glance diary features illustrations and patterns created from the existing art that adds visually vibrant inspiration and encouragement to appointments and deadlines.

*My Thoughts*
I haven't kept a diary since I was about 10...so I wasn't sure that I would actually use this book, or gift it to someone who could use it. The thing that drew me in was the galaxy-ish colors & of course the cute little elephant!

When I received this book, I actually fell in love with it & it is PERFECT for me to use for my blogging schedule, & to keep important dates etc. It's big enough to hold all my important info...yet small enough to fit in my purse so I can keep it while on the go!

Another favorite feature of mine is that this book as inspiring quotes throughout the book, as well as a page of world time zones, & international calling codes (THESE two features will come in handy), there are also pages conversions, wedding anniversaries, contacts & birthdays!

This book might be little but believe me, it is packed FULL of everything you need to keep track of your schedule!

I am back!

I have been quiet lately, not because I didn't have anything to post...but because things have been crazy here. we've all had our rounds of strep, and I'm still getting over my second round of strep, laryngitis, pharyngitis, sinus infection & double middle ear infection.

I have seen my fill of drs in the last week and a half to last me the rest of the year! I still plan on officially launching my new business, but between being sick and having crochet orders I haven't had much time.

My girls will be starting school next week (books finally came in)! Wish me luck! I officially have a 9th grade, 2nd grader & 1st grader.

I hope that things are well in your part of the world! If you have children, have they started school yet? what grade(s) are they in?

Foundations of Drawing: A Practical Guide to Art History, Tools, Techniques, and Styles

*Disclaimer*
I received a copy of this book free from bloggingforbooks.org to review. I was not financially compensated in any way. The opinions expressed are my own and are based on my observations while reading this book.

From a leading art instructor at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, a complete survey of drawing as an art form covering its history, materials, and key techniques, alongside step-by-step demonstrations.

Foundations of Drawing is a comprehensive and authoritative overview of the history, aesthetics, methods, and materials of the drawing medium. Throughout, clearly defined demonstrations provide easy access to the practice of drawing as well as the history and development of core drawing techniques. Richly illustrated, the book contains reproductions of the finest master drawings from the fifteenth century to the present. Unlike other drawing instruction books that focus on step-by-step lessons exclusively, Foundations of Drawing provides readers with the context and background to help understand just why these materials and methods are so vital for successful drawing.

*My Thoughts*
I had originally ordered this book for my 13 year old. She has become more serious about art and drawing. I figured this could help her out, but she didn't care for it. She said it was nice and teaches you things you may not know, but it's not something she is interested in.

Patterns of Evidence: Exodus #PatternsOfEvidence, #FlyBy

Disclosure (in accordance with the FTC’s 16 CFR, Part 255:  “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising”) Opinions expressed are 100% my own and NOT influenced by monetary compensation.  I did receive a sample of the product in exchange for this review and post.

About the Author/Filmmaker/Producer:

Tim Mahoney founded Mahoney Media Group, Inc. (MMG) in 1989. MMG focused its business on television and video production for regional and national companies. In 2014 Tim founded "Thinking Man Films & Media" as an international documentary & publishing company with a focus on education and the Bible.

Tim produced numerous productions for Christian organizations including the Billy Graham Association, World Wide Pictures, and Compassion International. Tim also served as the President of the board for the International Christian Visual Media Association (ICVM). Tim’s first full feature documentary film, “PATTERNS OF EVIDENCE: THE EXODUS”, released in January 2015.

The film took 12 years to develop and takes a scientific approach to investigate the events of the Biblical Exodus. The overall vision for his film company is to explore “patterns of evidence” that support the biblical narrative and engages the world in a conversation. The film takes a balanced approach and leaves the audience to decide for themselves if the Bible is real history or myth.

About the film
• Won 13 awards on the film festival circuit in 2014, including a Gold Remi Award winner for Best Director at the Worldfest Houston Intl. Film Festival, the Gold Crown Award for Best Picture and Best Documentary at ICVM 2014, and Official Selection at the Soho International Film Festival in New York.

• Supplemental resources associated with the film include a nearly 400-page hardcover book, small group Bible study, Movie Event kit, youth version (called Young Explorers), homeschool curriculum and others.

• It includes powerful interviews with some of the top experts in the fields of archaeology and Egyptology as well as people of influence in the Middle East.

• The film has an objective, fair-minded and balanced approach. It allows viewpoints from all sides to be heard in a respectful way while asking honest questions of the Bible and scholars’ views. It does not preach and lets the evidence speak for itself. This allows the film to be very shareable with those of different viewpoints.

*My Thoughts*
"Patterns of Evidence" is an incredibly informative film. I absolutely loved watching it  & found it fascinating in every way. I can't wait to share it with our pastor to put in the church library
